Construction

Engineered from high-strength stainless steel with hardened punch jaws that maintain sharpness through repeated bone contact. The spring-return mechanism allows rapid repetitive biting action during prolonged bone removal sequences without hand fatigue. Available in straight and angled jaw configurations and in small, medium, and large jaw sizes.

Applications

Widely used in spinal surgery for laminectomy, discectomy, and osteophyte removal. Also used in orthopedic joint surgery, reconstructive hand surgery, cranial surgery, and oral surgery for bone fragment removal, bone trimming, and articular surface preparation.

Sterilization

Fully autoclavable. After each procedure disassemble the cup jaws if applicable and clean all surfaces with enzymatic detergent to remove bone particles and tissue. Inspect cup jaw sharpness and alignment before each use. Lubricate spring mechanism and hinge joints periodically.
